A rather striking photo I just received of my gentry lady costume that I created and wore for the Ohio Renaissance Festival this season.
Gown is brown cotton broadcloth inset with brown-and-green striped blended velveteen in the bodice and forepart of skirt. Chemise and partlet of unbleached cotton muslin; bum roll of unbleached cotton muslin and poly fill.
